This guide will walk you through the process of uploading multiple products at once using our custom Import Manager. Please follow each step carefully to ensure a successful upload.
Begin by downloading the official product import template. This template is specially formatted to work with our system.
Download: Template link
Open the downloaded Excel file. You will find two sheets:
Sheet 1 (Data Entry): This is where you will enter all your product information. The data in the row two is sample data, you can remove this row and start adding product data.
Sheet 2 (Column Guide): This sheet contains detailed descriptions for every column, including examples of the required data format.
Important: Carefully review the guide in Sheet 2 to ensure your data is entered correctly. Incorrectly formatted data is the most common cause of import errors.
Save all product images you reference in the Excel sheet into the same folder on your computer where the Excel file is saved.
The image file names in the Excel cells must exactly match the names of the image files in the folder (e.g., red-shirt-01.jpg
).
Select both the filled-out Excel file and all the product image files.
Compress these files into a single ZIP archive.
Crucial Note: Do not put the images in a subfolder within the ZIP file. The Excel file and images must be in the root directory of the ZIP archive.
Log in to your nopCommerce admin panel.
Navigate to the Import Manager.
From the template dropdown menu, select PRODUCT_IMPORT_TEMPLATE
.
In the Source File section, click the button to choose a file.
Select the ZIP file you created in Step 4.
Scroll to the top of the page and click the Import Now button.
Please be patient. The processing time depends on the number of products in your file. The page will refresh automatically upon completion and display a summary message showing the number of records successfully imported.
If the summary report shows errors, please download the error log (if provided) or review the on-screen messages.
Correct the errors in your original Excel file, ensure the images are still in the same folder, and create a new ZIP file.
Repeat Steps 5 to 7 to re-upload the corrected file.
